We all know how important vitamins are to our health and many of us already take supplements.
What’s maybe less known is that your requirements change as you get a little older, especially when you reach menopause.
Although you should be able to get most of your vitamins through food this isn’t always possible, whether it’s due to a vegetarian/vegan diet, sub optimal gut health or even due to the suppressant effects of some medications.
Oral vitamin supplements can be very effective but can also lose their effectiveness due to gut health and medications as well as remembering to take them daily!
By taking an intramuscular vitamin shot, either in the arm or buttock, an intense dose is administered that will slowly release into your body and be effective for 2/3 months.
